Homemade Apple pie
I made this last year in college and I was so happy with how it turned out, so I knew I had to make it for this Autumn/Winter season. You can enjoy this with some custard or some nice warm cream. You will need a pie dish/tin Ingredients Ready made short crust pastry (or you can make your own) 300g Apples Cinnamon Brown Sugar to taste Egg wash Sugar to sprinkle on top Method: Core, peel and cut up your apples and place then in a pan on a low heat, add in the sugar till you get a sweet enough taste then mix till it looks like apple sauce (but you still have some bits of apple). Put the pan to a side and start preparing the dough. Grease your pie dish or tin and roll out you dough and place it in the dish (make sure you have some dough leftover for the top). Spoon in you apple to your dish and sprinkle with cinnamon.
