The afternoon will roll around and during this time I will wrap any last minuets Christmas presents and watch too many Christmas films or listen to my Christmas playlist. I will also face time my friends to wish them a Merry Christmas. Suddenly the evening will come around very quickly and we will normally have a simple tea, I will then help my dad prep for Christmas dinner and then head upstairs to have a nice

Homemade Apple pie

Image
I made this last year in college and I was so happy with how it turned out, so I knew I had to make it for this Autumn/Winter season. You can enjoy this with some custard or some nice warm cream. You will need a pie dish/tin Ingredients Ready made short crust pastry (or you can make your own) 300g Apples  Cinnamon  Brown Sugar to taste  Egg wash  Sugar to sprinkle on top   Method: Core, peel and cut up your apples and place then in a pan on a low heat, add in the sugar till you get a sweet enough taste then mix till it looks like apple sauce (but you still have some bits of apple). Put the pan to a side and start preparing the dough. Grease your pie dish or tin and roll out you dough and place it in the dish (make sure you have some dough leftover for the top). Spoon in you apple to your dish and sprinkle with cinnamon. Egg wash the edges and with the rest of the dough, cut them into strips and weave them on the top till you have a lattice cross top, then egg wash the top. Place in the

Autumn makeup look

Image
It might just be me but every season I have a different makeup look, and In Autumn my makeup turns from pink and light to brows and a bit darker. The first thing I do is prime my face, Im always up to something so my makeup needs to stay on throughout the day so I use Collection Primed & ready, then I will use my Real Technic beauty blender and put on myL'OREAL true match foundation followed by my Collection Lasting Perfection concealer. Next its onto my brows and I use NYX tame & frame brow pomade and my Benefit 24 hour brow setter. For my eyeshadow I use my too faced matte chocolate chip pallet in the shade "matte creme brûlée" topped with my Morphe 35R pallet in the shade "stunning", "spirit" or "golden" all are shimmers and I think it just finishes the look. In autumn and Winter I like to put on some eyeliner so I use the E.L.F liquid liner, however I don't do winged eyeliner because I can't do it (lol). To finish off my

Autumn essentials

Image
Autumn is my favourite time of year, the leaves are changing colour, it gets a little colder and you can be all nice and cosy. I like to be prepared for Autumn because one day it could be raining and the next it could be sunny, so here are some Autumn essentials. A nice winter coat - Probably one of the main essential thing on this list, a nice and warm winter coat, I love mine that's from Zara BUT instead of paying like £70 I got mine of an app called Vinted for £30! This is one of my favourite item to wear for Autumn and Winter, it the main essential. A cosy bobble hat - I want to thank Zoe Sugg for giving me the confidence to wear a bobble hat, I never felt comfortable wearing one but watching Zoe's vlog's I can't go a day without wearing one. Perfect to wear on a nice Autumn walk. I got mine out of a Zoella gift set. A nice pair of boots -  These are my all time favourites boots, there in the style of Dr. Martens but I got mine from Primark for only £6! They a

Things to do in Autumn

Image
Autumn is here yey! Autumn is the season which makes me the happiest and I alway try make the most out of  September, October and November. Read a good book - There's nothing better then lighting candles, getting into some comfy clothes, having a nice hot drink and reading a book, currently I'm reading the Bridgerton series books But any book with a good story is good for me. Hang fairy lights in your room - Fairly lights can make your room 10 times more cozy, if you can't have candles in your room at Uni these will make up for them. I get mine from Primark for like £2.50 but they have to be the copper ones, Watch films - Defiantly one of the best things to do in Autumn, settling down when you can hear the rain on your windows and relaxing. I love to watch movies on Disney Plus especially the princess films and any seasonal ones. Going on a walk - Where I live I'm lucky I have a lovely little place where I can walk and it's nice and peaceful. I like to grab a ho

Seasonal scents - Wax melt review

Image
Welcome to my new blog! I found this little business on Instagram and when I found it, I feel in love with her products. On the 1st September she launched her Autumn range and I had to get my hands on them because they look amazing! She is so so talented and all her products are handmade. Click  Here  to get your hands on some of the best wax melts ever! A little bit about Seasonal scent s - ' I started my business about 6 months ago, after quitting a job that I wasn’t enjoying. I’ve always been a very creative person, with a passion for home fragrance, so I decided to begin by making candles. This led on to so many more things which I never envisioned achieving but I’m so thankful to be where I am now! I study art & design at college, so along with making all of the products, I also enjoy experimenting with the photography side of things! I’ve particularly enjoyed the autumn range as it’s allowed me to photograph in depth with lots of props! So I suppose since starting my l

My favourite Lipsticks

Image
I love lipstick it can really make a difference to your whole look. I have lots of lipsticks but there are some that I love more than others. M.A.C - YASH Matte Lipstick Rimmel London - Shade 105 Morphe - Out & pout Nude pink Huda Beauty - Board meeting Kiko Milan - Smart 406 I like a light lip colour, apart from in Autumn/Winter when I wear a darker shade or a red. I will admit I do like to spend more money on a lipstick then any other make-up product, because they last longer for me in my opinion and I can go through one in like two months. A lipstick or even a lipgloss can really change your make-up look so it's always good to have a colour or even a brand that you love.

Is SHEIN worth it?

Image
About two weeks ago I places an order on SHEIN , I had heard some good things so I though I would give it ago myself. So was spending over £35 worth it?  The first thing I ordered was some cable protectors, I'm always breaking my chargers and always having to buy more, the ones that I received are good and you get plenty in the bag. However I though they would have been all different colours but I got all White, but they still work and I'm happy with them.  The nexts thing I got was a small tripod, so I could take pictures and can post baking videos on my other blog/instagram account, I'm really happy with it, its sturdy and does the trick. So if there's anyone who wants to make videos without getting an expensive tripod defiantly get one from SHEIN.  I love having pictures on my wall so I got two, one of them sums me up and the other is just a lovely picture that I think will look nice on my wall. They are a really good size and printed on like canvas paper I think
